Suppliers’ evaluation FERMIR counts on its suppliers to ensure the conformity of its products/services, thus complying with contractual agreements.
Energy
Since FERMIR is a company with very strong environmental concerns, in 2017, it decided to invest in renewable energies, namely solar energy, having a photovoltaic plant for self-consumption with an installed capacity of 110.2 kWp.
As an increasingly evident strengthening and growth of these concerns, in 2021 and 2022, we have increased the installed power at the headquarters unit to 193 kVA and installed 293 kVA in the stamping unit. We expect that 25% to 30% of the energy consumed in our facilities comes from renewable sources for self-consumption.
Quality and Environmental Policy
We believe that only sustainable industries will succeed in the future. As such, we invest in the use of sustainable materials in the garments that we produce. We use organic cotton, which contributes to a lower environmental impact, as it is grown without resorting to fertilizers and chemicals. We are also making use of recycled fibers, as is the case of cotton recycled from our cutting waste, which gave rise to our FERMIR360 project. You can check our Quality and Environment Policy
Social Responsibility
FERMIR values its employees above anything. Each one with their own potential, together we compose a team of excellence. As such, everyone is treated fairly and equitably, and all employees are aware of their Rights, Duties and Guarantees, as well as our Anti-Corruption and Anti-Bribery Policy.
In 2021, we have created an individual safe space for all staff members to share emotions and build goals, with the assistance of a specialized consultant: the Office of Happiness.
